Prisoners 'to be chipped like dogs'

This is an alarming development.

While I agree the Jail service in this country is in dire need of reform, this is not the answer.

As with every new legislation, it's a slippery slope. It will start with serious crime offenders, eventually moving to any sod with an minor asbo (we know that they were first designed for troublesome offenders but have since seen OAP's being placed on the list) and finally (in the future) every citizen will be tagged.

This government/asshat do gooders, will not be satisfied until they know the exact location/movements of every resident in this country.

What's next? Pre-Crime arrests?
