Grey Wolves and SH3 Commander

What is the correct procedure for running Grey WOlves with SH3 Commander. I have GWX succesfully installed and it all runs fine.

To use the two together - do I run SH3 via the Sh3 comander menu or via the "SilentHunterIII with GWX 2.0" shortcut?

Secondly the file I downloaded from the GWX site for SH3 Commander appears as a *.7z file (whatever that is) - is that correct or does it need unpacking or renaming? I.e.

You need to unzip that file into the SH3C Cfg and yes to all the over write.

Get the unpacker file from here http://www.7-zip.org/download.html and open the file. After that just drop the Cfgs into the C\Program Files\SH3Cmdr\Cfg folder

Ahh haa!!!!!

For some reason - neither WinRAR no WinZip recognised the file unless I explicitly told them to unzip it!

Should I know place the 4 .cfg file I had in the same folder as above or in a sub-folder?

P.S. Thanks for the quick reply - the plan was to post the 1st msg -- go and do the washing up - then come back and see if anyone had replied

I'm not sure if you still need an answer to this question but to be on the safe side here it is:

Unpack the folder and extract the Cfg files into C\Program Files\SH3Cmdr\Cfg folder. When asked if you want to overwrite the previous files just click Yes.
