Likewise... If you buy a decent quality one there shouldn't be a problem. We have 3 energy efficient bulbs in the computer room chandelier and I am out here all night sometimes either working or seeing to Grey Wolves matters like testing or just me tinkering myself learning stuff... and I have yet to see a single migraine in the whole 6 months they have been there.
Me too, no problem what so ever.

No problem or complaints here.

If you don't like them then don't use them and pay more to your electricity provider. I'm sure they will appreciate the charitable act.

I agree. I'm willing to pay 2x to 3x you to not give up my yellow light bulbs.

Consider halogen. saves you around 30-40% of energy with latest products and gives warm, comfortable white light. I have only one normal light bubble in use anymore, the rest is special lights, or halogen.

Never had a problem with the energy saving bulbs apart from they take a while to 'warm up' to full strength when you switch them on.

Thats a problem, especialy with the low out put ones.
The one on my desk I need to use for reading so it is high output. It still takes time to get to
full power, but I can't look straight at it, even when i have just turned it on.

I have no issue with the bulbs. They work fine and last a lot longer than the conventional ones. Besides, my local hardware store was handing them out for free so people would try them. I grabbed a few. Still burning away after a year

We got some posted through our front door a couple of years ago for free. Think they were part of a scheme to get people to change to energy saving bulbs.
