Default You can't fault his bravery...

One French guy left defending the town square, so far we have no casualties. Look what he is up against, you'd think he'd consider surrendering, but noooo....

LOL , reminds me of an old cartoon I saw in a DnD book -army outside a castle wall with one guy lying on the ground looking like a pin cushion with all these arrows in him and 2 of the defenders are looking at each other and one say's "Hey what do you know , we all aimed at the same guy"

Hey chock, looks like you still have your green circles on. May help unit finding, but horrible for immersion.

If you want to remove them, open the medieval2.preference cfg in the main folder, then find the line

disable_arrow_markers

and then make it so it reads

disable_arrow_markers = 1

I've got Rome total war and the expansion barbarian invasion nice and realistic strategy games. In fight they give you the feeling that you are in the battlefield unlike games like empire earth, dawn of war etc.

I finally exterminated the moors and I'm causing rebellions in the remaining mongol cities in Europe. I've pretty much destroyed their offensive force (except in the middle east, the mongols have jerusalem). I did just lose another settlement to them and another 15000 people were slaughtered, but what can you do? I own 55 regions and I'm planning to push the mongols out of europe than turn my attention to the middle east. I'm not really going to be playing though because I just got Sins of a Solar Empire.

Hey guys.

Anyone tried the Clouds Across Europe mod? I see it as the most downloaded on TWCenter.net. Is it any good? I like the new factions they've added. :hmm:

You know, I have a suggestion. Instead of elections, why not choose the Overlord of the Earth by the winner of this game in a massive on-line tournament?

Because the Overlord of the Earth is already chosen by a MIITW-like game called War!

What factions?
The Shahdom of Khwarezm
The Kingdom of Jerusalem
The Teutonic Order
Principality of Wallachia
Grand Duchy of Lithuania
Caliphate of Abbasids
Kingdom of Georgia
Kingdom of Sweden

Oh, and had a funny-ish yet irritating start to my Kingdom of Jerusalem campaign. I watched the movie Kingdom of Heaven last night and told Hunter on MSN that it'll make me reinstall MTW II. And of course, that's what it did. Anyways, there I was all confident to hold Jerusalem until I win the game (I mean, come ooon, I have Teutonic knights, Crusader knights, Kingdom of Jerusalem knights and all that crap), so I went happily along, building farms & roads as I always do to boost the economy. I pressed the end turn button and got message that there was a riot in Jerusalem and it was lost to rebels. Oh and that was the first turn.

Lol, yeh you laugh if you want. But I started a new game and moved some of the troops from my other cities to ease it down. No riot this time, everything goes smooth.. wait... WHAT!? A JIHAD!? Right. Now, dont panick, Dowly. It takes them time to get here, build up your walls and more troops, we can beat them.

*presses the end turn button*

Right, just few more turns and my defences are read... OH YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! I have Egyptians touching themselves on my south border and Ottoman Empire troops coming from north, a quick headcount and it makes almost 6000 enemies against my roughly 1500 or less defenders, no archers either.

EDIT: Oh yeh, and my diplomat's name is Bernard... no, I'm not kidding...

Dowly you are just like me! Influenced by a film to go and get a game thats collecting dust off the shelf and install it. I wonder if you will be exactly like me though and un-install it after a maximum time of about a week? :hmm:
