How to man the Flack Gun in moderate rough waters

Can somebody tell me please How to mod the files of this SH3 game to man the flack gun in moderate rough waters , I know this is impossible ( and not realistic )in extreme rough waters , but sometimes even if the surface of the ocean is not moving a lot , a window pop up when I try man this flack gun , telling me , is not possible to man the flack gun in rough waters. Thank you for your help

Sure you need to go to....

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Submarine\***** **


where it says "******" find the uboat type folder
for the boat your using. open it and open the cfg. file.

look for this line.

StormConditions=11,0.4;max wind speed [m/s], max rain intensity [0,1]

to read this right the first two numbers are the wind and rain intensity
settings the rest is the explanation of ranges of settings after
the semi colon.
rain can keep you off deck too but you dont notice until youve reset
the wind.
