Only Fools and Horses (yes, the batman episode)
Some Mothers Do Ave Em
Laurel and Hardy (which makes a comeback around Christmas)
And yes, Pingu, which is on every Christmas morning as I excitedly eat my fattening sugary foods from my stocking.

Again, it could be worse. We could be watching TV in North Korea:

Venerable Leader Kim Jong-Il presents: A Christmas Carol
A production of 'Silent Night' by the North Korean Nuclear Research Committee
A Korean version of Tom and Jerry - condensed to 5 minutes due to subversive political views found later in the programme

I counted 4 once at new years once in easter once in august and i can bet money once more at christmas.

Around here, in Connecticut, we're getting inundated with Spider Man II (which they play on the same station every day and I've seen so many times that I want to cry), re-runs of America's Next Top Model (Which seems like it's on all day or every time I turn the TV on regardless of the hour), I Love New York (Same as America's Next Top Model), Flavor of Love (Same as the last two but with a wrinkled guy who totally skeeves me out) I've also seen Flightplan every day this week. The only show I watch now is "The Universe" on The History (or Discovery channel... I don't know which.) every teusday night.

The one refreshing surprise this year was a live action version of my favorite Terry Pratchet novels, The Hogfather ! And it was actually pretty well done ! I just wish it was available on DVD in the States

Ah, but to be fair, Das Boot usually makes an appearance on BBC2 around this time of year, the original TV series with English subtitles IIRC!

First time I ever saw Das Boot was then.

Hey I found one film that I have not seen for years over Xmas, Hunt the Bismark.

Popcorn will be on stand by for this one.

I have it on dvd that one, along with a lot of classic war films. :p
