I have the "stop" problem also. I cannot resume course after loading. Have to increase speed manualy and after a while resume the course.
What I ment by droping the speed to 0 during a storm is that the speed goes (because of big waves) 9-7-8-6-7-5-6-3-5-2-3-1-0..... After reaching 0 doesn't change anymore until I decrease TC. It happens only with TC higher than 128x. With lower TC it goes from 9 to 6 and back. I also find unrealistic to have 10m waves where the total depth is 15m ![]() |

Also, the weather starts over again when you save and restart. At least this is how it was explained to me by Leovampire. So, if you save half way through a storm and restart, the clock starts all over again. So yes, potentually you can have a storm for weeks. Ride out the storm!
