From memory, the SO does report a 209 in locality but I checked my source documents and it showed that in DW the only German SS Diesel type sub was a TYPE 206A. Good point, but hard to say for sure. On one hand, you can get 2 lines on the SA before you're counterdetected; on the other, there is only a 3hz difference when the freq's are in the 1500s, and you can't zoom in on the high end of the scale. My feel is that it wasn't intended that way.
