Well just tested SH4 Patch 1.4 with a multiplayer mission. Yep, you guessed it, UBI has done SWEET FA for Multiplayer :-

1. Radio messages still DO NOT work
2. No Ship names and individual Tonnage shown for sinkings
3. Still showed as KILLED when you leave game and your sub as no damage.

One plus side....Load time is a lot quicker !

Thanks for nothing regarding multi fixes.

Footnote Used Greenlamp and Flag kill mods.........worked AOK......No prob

After disabling the mods with JSGME I installed the patch and reinstalled the ROW-mods and others. No problem at all. Now I'll have some fun while the devs can build the next target: the add-on!

Still working ATM so I gots about 2 hours left before I can download and install.
I would assume one would have to be port before installing, and if the previous patches were any clue, everyone will be starting new careers.

Let me make sure I have this right before I screw it up..

1. Remove all mods
2.Re install game
3.Re install 1.3 and 1.4
4.Re install mods

Is this correct?

Sound mod seems to work just fine, also the supergun lol, if you get board at times during game play .

Minoos:I would think patch v1.4 to be cumulative just as the previous ones. Mo need to apply earlier versions after a clean install...

The Readme file confirms it:
quote:
Please make sure that you are installing the right patch for your game version (US, EMEA, etc).
This patch can be applied on any Silent Hunter 4 version (1.0 to 1.3).
This patch will upgrade your version of Silent Hunter 4 to Silent Hunter 4 patch 1.3.

The last sentence should be read as "This patch will upgrade your version of Silent Hunter 4 to Silent Hunter 4 patch 1.4. "
It seems to be the same as before.
