I don't really have a problem with someone owning a gun. I have a problem when someone uses a gun illegally. If there were some way to keep guns out of the wrong hands we would all be happy. I see the real issue being how do we strangle the flow of illegal guns. the answer is not more jails or better supervision of parolees. Well, they're not supposed to be. If you are a felon you cannot possess a gun. Problem is criminals don't follow the law, that is why they are criminals. You want to curb crime you take any person who commits an illegal act with a gun and you throw the book at them. Mandatory long sentences of very hard time and hard labor. If you murder someone with a gun you should be executed. America should model its prison system after Tent City Arizona. Sheriff Arpiao has things figured out. These people are the scum of the earth and deserve to be treated as such.
