Thanks everyone. I honestly could not believe my luck and then I was just hoping that 7 torps would be enough and that hopefully their would not by any duds. Luckily about a minute or 2 after the last torp hit I noticed she was settling a little and then got the "She's going down" message. It was a dream patol with about 93,000 tons (it would have been an awesome patrol even if I hadn't found the Yamato).

I so wish i could remove that target destroyed message entirely. Just to keep ya guessing, "did i get it or not? Maybe ill put one more fish into it to be sure"

Yeah mebbe ya should Duci ... but with the NSM it may take a couple hours before ya get it now.

I've tried. I can change the message, or remove it, but the problem is i can't get rid of that timestamp that precedes the message. This makes removing the message pointless, because the instant you get a timestamp in the chat window, you know its going down.

If you can ever get it that would be really sweet. As far as putting another torp into a target just to make sure, that would have killed me as I put every torp I had left into her. While I was waiting to get that message for about a half second I was thinking of surfacing and putting a few rounds into her with my deck gun (I said for a half second

). With the Yamato though I know that would be like trying to stop a tank with a pebble. The Japanese sailors who weren't trying to save the ship would have been laughing at me.:rotfl:
