Reading your essay let me think of a book I read, On The Spine of Time from Harry Middleton.
Mountain People, Streams $ Trout.
Being there in the outback with just a few other people- but special- far away from the rat race.

Just a flyrod, a few cans with beans, some beer and a tent. What els does men need?
