Translation: Ducimus doesn't like much the new "fantasy" direction that the Sh series is taking. Things like a Type XXI in the Indian ocean, cooperation with japanese forces and such

Don't worry, the main reason he doesn't like it is because he knows he will now have double the work to remove it from Trigger Mary and double the opportunities of adding stuff that pleases him by tinkeing with the new features. Guess he is already tired of thinking how much work is waiting for him

I love the new "special assignment" crew features, but that plus the Type XVIII (not XXI - the original announcement states that it's going to be the Walther boat) suggests that this is going to be very much a "secret weapons of the Kriegsmarine" add-on.

Not that I mind. I think some of the new engine additions will be handy and un-modding the uber-ness to be more realistic is easier than adding content.

And come on, the "casuals" are gonna love it. I mean that in a positive way

I believe that's already been confirmed as part of the additions to that and the 1.4 patch.

Nope, can't say i like too much fantasy. Don't get me wrong, im a sucker for a "what if" as much as the next guy, but there's a point where i draw the line and say, "Ok, that's it, I ain't going any farther".

You've been talking with Dowly and company i see. Thats what he calls TMaru.

Nobody makes an addon (synonymous with expansion) for free. So If this addon costs money as i think it will - im not buying it. Ubi got 50 bucks out of me from a digiital download, and then another 50 when i had to buy the DvD later on. Enough is enough.

Yes i am, and im already playing other games, and enjoying myself. I want to quit, and the longer i go playing other stuff, waiting for the patch, the more detached i am feeling, the less i find myself caring about TM or modding in general.
