I have to say, I disagree with you both. The Bond flick throughout was a refresher - this part I agree, but the hanging ending made it unsatisfying. If I had known, I would have waited till the second flick hit and watched them both back to back on DVD.
I liked the direction the Bond series has taken, but hate the ending with a passion. Also - bring back Q already!!! -S |

Well imagine a silent hunter game that ends in 1944...
Thats pretty much the same as what many games these days do, the just end without conclusion. I havent looked at sales figures but I guess it sells the sequels. Back in the day, you`d buy a sequel for the simple fact that the first game was good. Like the total war series (although i feel medieval2 tw was a step backwards, and the upcoming title is in a boring era). |

The MP will be entertaining for a hour or two, until I get the hang of it. Then people will accuse me of cheating because I make so many head shots or some other stupid thing. Kind of spoils it for me. Too many noobs in the MP arena, so I kind of think that MP is for noobs. If I want MP, I'd buy COD4 or something. -S |

I think you're right on there Subman, it's fair enough to expect a challenge in a game such as this, since it is billed as such. You have to say, if they'd let it be known that the 'game' was merely an extended training level in preparation for playing online and making your own maps, I'm sure it would discourage buyers. One of the reasons I rarely play IL-2 online is that I used to get accused of cheating because I used to kick people's asses all the time, simply because I had bothered to learn and employ the best tactics, so I often prefer offline games too, and I generally prefer co-operative stuff against decent AI when online.
I'm all for sophisticated mission/map designers being packaged with a game (it's one of the reasons I bought ARMA, and I actually only bought the mission disk for that so I'd get the DC-3 to put in my own missions), but if the mission and level designer is so good, I think you've a right to expect the developers to have put it to good use with an engrossing plotline that takes more than a couple of days to complete. ![]()

After I am done with recording my way through I will check the sandbox editor. Crysis seems to have some potential for cumunity made maps.
