I had this happen once during a DC attack. My deck gun got damaged, and the gun crew immediatly turned pink (injured?). Doesn't seem reasonable to just hit the gun crew at 100' with a depth charge. I think this indicates personell that are out of action: Damaged Gun = Gun Crew out of action (not injured). I didn't think about moving them around to see if they turned white again.

Usually, when the deck gun is damaged, it don't get 'undamaged'. Tough nuggies for you.

Have the exact same issue here. No injuries, but no matter who I put on the repair team and no matter what their rank or skill, the deck gun(s) and AA guns stay damaged until I can hit "Refit." Occasionally, though, the guns still operate even though they are "damaged." This is all a complete mystery to me, so perhaps I am insane as well.

@leovampire - what's the secret to getting the repairs made?

You prob realize just like everything else, when the damage bar is 100% (mouse-over indicates "1") no repair at sea is possible.

This is true but what there discussing is the fact that if you have crew members assigned to the deck gun slots even if your submerged (and the members are obviously not AT the deck gun) the assigned crew still recieves damage whenever the DG recieves damage.

Sure seems like a patch or mod conflict issue to me. I have had lots of gun damage I've been able to repair without crew damage since P1.3.

So, that's what's happening.
I also had a similar problem today, but with the Deck watch. I was returning to base, and they just...died. No damage, no depth charges... Just "Men down on the deck" alert. Weird.
