In RL ships that carried very boyant cargo such as timber, empty berrels.....err....ping pong balls.......etc... where hard to sink and could often soak up a lot of hull damage (no pun intended there either! ).

Conversly ships carrying very heavy cargo such as metal would often go down in minutes, even less!

By the way, Belgian, sure I've seen that picture of the 'Secks Toi Maru' in Silent Victory...just not in colour! :rotfl:
