GWX menu music question

I found the original music had an emotional pang to it while being moody and subdued. It'd fit perfectly on a GWX trailer with boats sinking, deck guns firing and sailors dying. I'm just nitpicky because songs like that when they imply devastation and horror but nothing is actually happning on screen. It's like someone screaming and crying for what looks like no reason.

Don't get me wrong it sounds awesome and no disrespect to the GWX team for choosing it. I sat here and listened to the whole song staring at the screen the first time I fired GWX up. I've just found myself thinking the mellow sadness of the original theme fits better for me.

always interested in ear candy. Random question, does the gramophone add a needle crackle or was that just added to the music pack I'm playing with?

The needle crackle is entirely dependant on the quality of the music file....some of my more modern era music tracks are mp3 quality.
