Hamlet by Branagh is one of my favorite versions. Adds a bit of spice to the story, and it also works well.

If I was going to pick what I thought was the most moving scene in a movie, I would choose the scene in the Peter Weir movie, Fearless, where Jeff Bridges demonstrates to heartbroken fellow plane crash survivor Rosie Perez (traumatised by the fact that her child, which she was holding during the crash, was thrown from her grasp and died - She thinks she could have saved the child if she'd held him tighter), that there was no way she could have held him tightly enough. He does this by strapping her in the rear seat of his car and making her hold a toolbox as tight as she possibly can as he drives the car at full tilt into a brick wall. Despite her desperately guilty grasp, the toolbox flies from her grip in the impact which wrecks the car.

The editing and soundtrack, not to mentions Bridges' acting, as he careers toward the wall repeatedly shouting 'that's your baby, hold on to your baby', make it one of the most emotional scenes that has ever been put on celuloid in my opinion.

The film was slammed by the critics, but I thought it was really wonderful, especially that scene.

I liked that movie, too (Fearless). Really arresting plot. The impact of surviving the plane crash...yeah

I voted #4. For all its flaws (and there are many), Glory is one of the best war films ever made.
