I have all the ROW mods installed but in regards to the slow moving clouds; where are they? The skies are clear. Is that the way they're suppose to be?

Don't worry, you'll come across them sooner or later and if by chance you hit a storm, with heavy fog, heavy rain and the boat bouncing up and down and sideways, make sure you have your sea sick pill with you

Cool. My ATI system doesn't handle volumetric fog that well for some reason so I had to diable that effect. It's a Crossfire config using X2900XT's w/ 1GB RAM. Most likely a setting that conflicting.

Anyway, these mods are adding a lot of depth and realism to the game. I've compiled all the good compatible mods into one and then tweak the game to be a little more easier while retaining a decent amount of realism.

I hope they come out with a mod or patch that adds German vessels. The Bismark & Tirpitz were fine ships.

It's like caling the mechanic and describing the sound a car is making with your mouth and asking can you tell me what is wrong and if it is serious?! :rotfl:

Then you bring the car in and the mechanic looks at it and listens then realizes the radio accidently got put on AM instead of FM and was turned down real low in volume so it would kind of blend into the other noises of the car. He tell's the customer what was wrong then charges them $70.00 for looking to find the sound problem for the last hour.

Will let you know when I see one.

Man, you can have some of my clouds. Rained for 5 days......soaked watchmen! Sail and the clouds will come!

BTW, I love the rain rework. Now it does not look like a slasher movie

Canonicus and FooFighter both did work with the rain and I combined it to try and make the most realistic effect with them both.

I got clouds now but no rain. The only way I was able to get them is to accellerate the game for a few days and when I resumed, there were clouds all over the place. Now everything seems to move normally.

The original cloud work was horrible. Each time I sailed out, I thought Armageddon was approaching.

Can you tell me where that was taken in game please? Looks more like the ground wasn't depth set properly but we didn't do any thing like that for work in the mod other than texturing the land.

I'm thinking that it's a side effect of another mod or just a random glitch.

Default Sure can

not in game now so my memory might not be perfect. just south of tawi tawi. coordinates were roughly 120deg E by 4deg 50' north. I can try to find it again. Was looking around with F12 so my boat wasnt very near it.

With the camera things can mess up with graffics in game. But again that is a fix just around the corner with the 1.4 patch for the game.

Hey, does anyone know where I can get a realistic guage mod? I've been looking for one that is more true to how they looked back then.

One other thing: does SH4 have lightning strikes?
