Understand me well, Pirate :
you would have presented a new NON drivable alpha, I would have applause, and congratulate you.
But a new drivable is a big no.

As Ramius said (thanks Ramius), I did nothing much!!!
Only database changes and the 3d file switch.
So well inside SCS rules

And as I have done, I have a hull with wrong hardware! That's right.
I didn't fill like doing more as I am waiting for full patch. And would have to do all again with full patch.
But you can have that hull with the right hardware. You just have to create the new sensors and other hardware at the database and attribute them to the object.

Now... as I have always said, the only thing that cannot be changed is the loadout. But even that you can choose what you load and how much before you set sail on the horizon.

Oh... and non drivable alfa is much easier as you do not have to adjust masts and antenas

All this gentleman has done is switch a 3D model. And besides, this man can do whatever he wants with *his* game as long as he doesn't distribute it.

It's OK...no harm done...

Pretty sure Pigfish would have been tied to a concrete block and checked off the pier by Jamie a long time ago had SCS not liked what he did.

You know.... :hmm: I just realized... this can be done for one of the 2 Akula II along with modding the database stats and walla, you could probably role-play most of the other subs in the game... sure same'ol GUI and and wrong number of torpedo tubes, but heck, it would be fun to do.

Man this is great... Can you guys please let me know how this was done? I'm going to grab the editor and I have all the models etc from subcommand. I just need to know how to do it correctly... Cheers!
