Default "In Enemy Hands"

I purchased this movie from ebay and it arrived today. I couldn't wait to watch it. I will not give you the storyline as it would spoil it. However, I will tell you that it was a story written by John Denvers and what ships were involved in the movie:

The U-boats involved were U-429, U-821 and U-1221; merchants; the USS Swordfish and two US Destroyers - one unnamed and the USS Logan and a US Cruiser.

If you can get it, it would be a great addition to your U-boat library.

I couldn't read the sub titles quick enough, my sight is not the best & the print is really too small, would have preferred all in english, so I really didn't get to see it properly, may try again on pc (close up & use pause)!

Edit: I could hardly recognise Lauren Holly! (NCIS)

One thing I will add is that I purchased a copy of an old film "The Enemy Below" Robert Mitchum & Curt Jurgens, very good even compared to todays quality IMO!!

Yes, I purchased that movie a long time ago as well, but wish I could get the movie soundtracks for it, but cannot find them. My regular source of soundtracks is "Go-Music.ru" doesn't have it.

Rob

Oh, I had no problem reading the sub-titles, I have a large screen.

Edit: I also watch NCIS every week. I watch all crime movies on TV in the evening.

looks like an interesting flick.

on a side note:

The cover of the movie shows a modern nuclear sub... but the film takes place in WW2... is that an IMDB thing or actually the cover of the movie?

That may be what they show in the advertisement, but on the actual DVD it shows a destroyer being hit by a torpedo.

Try the original book (author D A Rayner) set up deliberately as U-Boat v lone Destroyer as he considered that they were equally matched - Great!
