I took the info off the SH4 mainpage.

http://silenthunter4.us.ubi.com/

But I guess TDK's is more accurate insider info. Fine by me, I'll take the patch tonight!

Default When in doubt.....go to sea!

And that is just what I did about an hour ago. Spent a couple of hours loading up the boat with a full load of torps, took along 4 Mark 27's for fun and games. Then I went shopping at SUBSIM for the latest mods (all of them were updated while I was at sea in my 12th cruise. Trigger Maru 1.64, Natural Sinking Mechanics 3.3, ROW's latest stuff (had to kill the hi res foam, the GOD computer couldn't handle it), tater's airbase replacement, his IJN Depth Charges, Groton Naval Academy, Hi-res Balao Redfin , Silent Service 1.2 Graphics Mod, plopped the Pearl Harbor Menu on top of that (awesome combination), Girl in Every Port, and on top of that my custom keyboard mod for shift-i to identify the ship.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Ready to cruise and forget what I'm supposed to be waiting for. Already patrolled the Marshalls (no contacts but planes from Wake Island) and now have to patrol the Carolines. No contacts yet. I'm loving it!!!! What am I supposed to be waiting for?:rotfl:

It's coming. The "SH3 Mod: German Atlantic Campaign" is coming.

It's going to happen. I'll bet you $20 out of my paypal account.

I really don't want to start a flame war but when I read this post of KFM on the Ubi site I was really asking myself: Is it impossible to satisfy this guy?

Ubisoft ought to get their act together on that one because not officially mentioning those two means they could very well have missed the point of why WE're supposed to get a patch in the first place.

Wake up! (Nothing of this was thrown either directly or indirectly at our Moderators.)

EDIT: Seems I got carried away.... What I really wanted to say: I can't wait to d/l the patch although it will mean I'll have to deactivate my mods. But at least the enemy will now see the trails of our MK 14s. Hopefully that'll mean that I'll sink less ships. Don't get me wrong, I love sinking ships but it's not fun getting the Medal of Honor 3 times in a row just because I've sunk 4 or 5 ships in one mission.

At this point, it has become quite clear that it's best for both communities to simply ignore KFM and that is exactly what we should all do. Leave him in his own mess and move on.

Default Who?

Kentucky Fried Who? No clue who that could be.

I'm betting my money by buying the add-on. Ubi gained my trust by trumping all expectations on patch 1.3, especially by removing the Sony copy protection, which NOBODY expected. Anything that comes now is a bonus and looking at mopedmopel's Gato tour of the world should be a little bit of a hint. Modeling ports we never see is done for a reason. The reason is NOT that they intend that we never use them. The Gato in the U-Boat pen, rendered in unimaginable detail, is inspiring. http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...93&postcount=1 If it is there, there is a purpose. It will be used.

I have faith that my cash will be well-spent.

You're right, but it was early in the morning and I was grumpy so I had to let steam off.
