To remark generally, I don't know what is going on today, but a whole bunch of people seem to have bees in their bonnets all at the same time. Maybe it's time to turn off the computers and stretch your legs for awhile.

That is what I am doing. Been scarce compared to normal last couple days.

I am tempted to see if I can beat this record though....Hmmm....What was it? Two posts?

What is a wily head and why would you want to win it unless this was a Brighton raffle? Is it some way of swearing in a polite way?I think we should be told.

Mime demonstrates his subterfugal ineptitude by failing to ask the blatently omniscient Wanderer the questions to which is truly requires answers. Rather, he asks silly and ridiculous questions to rid himself of he who would provide the answers.

Most sincerely,

Unfortunately, no. This is because although the works themselves are in public domain, the individual productions are copyrighted and owned by the opera companies themselves. Most major companies do provide snippets of, mostly, motifs, but the Mime/Wanderer exchange is about 30 minutes long by itself. Still, you can find translations of the libretto all over the internet.

Taking something seriously and laughing about it don't have to be mutually exclusive.
Completely true. I mean they made hilarious bugs bunney cartoons during WW2 about Tojo and Hitler. Doesn't that say it all?

Surely it should be easy to find a performance so old that it is now public?
