Lokks like the exhaust was on the conning tower, according to this section of Blueprint there is something labeled "Dieselabluftmast" It's the bottom item listed in front of the periscopes, my German is really rusty but I believe that translates to "Diesel exhaust mast"

Hope this helps

The "Dieselabluftmast" is part of the snorkel system. So it's not the diesel exhaust while running on the surface. Looking at the plans for the Type XXI now but no luck in finding the surface running exhaust. Will continue to look at my book.

Found the exhaust ports. Hitman was right on the money. The exhaust ports are in the green circle (on both sides). The exhaust ports are under the waterline according to my diagrams. :hmm: So...can you still see the exhaust if it's under the waterline?

P.S.- Here's the book I got my info from.

If i could design the hip i would put it in two places. the first is the diesel room so the fuel exhuast can get out and they second should be for all subs. the bathroom. yes thats right becuase i do not want a smelly boat after Bernard takes a crap on my boat. man does that thing smell and the DDs can smell it too.

Thanks guys for you input.

Ok I'm not saying you guys are wrong. How does it work to have the exhaust below the water line? Ok I get the point to hide the smoke value to help cloak you. I get that. But how does it prevent water from entering and exhaust from exiting?

Anyhow If Hitman is right. I will have to add that texture to the skins I'm almost ready to release.

That's the exhaust when running submerged with snorkel
