Every monitor (or more properly the panel itself) evaluated will provide something for the reviewer to complain about. They're all about trade-off and balance. Keep in mind that practically every LCD needs to be calibrated to some degree or another in order to look it's best. Some of them more so than others... to the point where the worst looking monitor in an uncalibrated group of monitors can end up looking the best of the bunch after they've been calibrated. Reviewers some times take this into account, other times not.

Now the primary use of this computer right here is gaming and web browsing. I've had a Sammy 225BW attached to it and liked it. At the time it was bit on the expensive side, and that's about the only negative thing I have to say about it.

I currently own a Dell 2707WFP and love it. It was (relatively) expensive as well - mainly because of it's size - but in this case I think well worth it.

I can tell you that Silent Hunter looks awesome! The 2407 is, as I understand it, very similar.
