I would suggest you upgrade your Graphics card to at least 6800 but the higher the better.
Btw, are you from Pluto the Planet ? Have never come across anybody from there before. Is there a Shuttle service and do they have a midnight there ? Sorry for all these questions. |

Go for the Nvidia 8800 thats the best without a lag period. And yes its the graphics card. just read the box on the back where the requirements r at and you can go from there.

Hrmmmmmm........
My graphics card is an old Nvidia GeForce FX 5500 with 256 MB of ram on it. Also my computer is at 3.2 GHz, but only 512 MB of RAM! I do have some lag, but only when there are a lot of ships near me and I'm trying to use time compression and if I'm really close to a ship when it explodes (the fire and smoke affect) but not to the point where the game is unplayable....... Of course I'm using the latest driver, Forceware 163.71 and I keep the guts of my computer clean as possible........ Still, the 6 to 7 minute load times are making me want to upgrade my ram. |

Heh, I bought this game in 2005 and it didn't work, but then I bought a videocard, 5700 FX I think, but it didn't work either, and then bought ATI Radeon 9250 but didn't work either so I bought 6200 and stuck with it.
![]() Should I buy a new computer, or stick to this one? Note again: I have a PCI Computer and 6200 was the BEST one they had in stores. ![]() |

Wait a second.....
Your graphics card. Is it Extended PCI? or AGP? or is it regular PCI? I don't know if this game will work with regular PCI. My card is 8x AGP. And Extended PCI is a relatively new thing. You may have to upgrade your computer mother board and graphics card. (so yes, a new computer) |

A motherboard like mine is around 50 to 60 bucks. The CPU with it (Pentium 4 3.2 GHz) is around 60 to 70 bucks. And you can get the AGP graphics card for as low as 65 bucks. So it'd cost less than a whole new computer. But then you'd either have to know what you're doing, or have a friend that does. But, if you're going to get a whole new computer, then go big! ![]() |
