Default Welcome to England

And please read this information pack, mean while a in Romania crime has fallen and in the words of a police chief there all moved to England. OK, back on track, Well this sounds interesting I wonder what goodies will be in the pack to read. :hmm:

Quote:
Welcome to Britain... but please don't eat the fish: Immigrants get DOs and DON'Ts pack

Migrants will be given information packs warning them not to drink-drive or steal fish from rivers.

The pamphlets will set out a series of rights and responsibilities to help arrivals "get to grips with what is expected of them, from national laws to local traditions". Government officials said the advice would also set out guidelines on social norms such as tolerance and understanding of other faiths and communities.

Don't get me wrong I'm not against it but I feel this will be another cock up of by this government, after you read the first few lines this may happen. Please put it in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing.

the problem I see with the new lot of migrant workers from eastern europe is unlike the ones who stayed after the war they stick in their own groups so you will get ghettoes.

We have about 15 Polish workers and only a couple of them have decent english. We had a day out at an activity centre and at the end they all sat at their own table and didn't come into the bar to drink with us. Ok so they might only be here a couple of years but if they stay and do the same what's going to happen?

That's no big problem with migrant workers who only stay for a few months.

It could be a problem with long term migrants. It depends on weather they are forced
into low wage work and poverty.
There are some city areas that contain foreign cultures that are good and some that are
in a terrible state.

If weekly wages continue to drop and the local populace blame it on the influx of foreign workers, I can see potential problems ahead :hmm:

Coming soon in the next 10 years riots and more riots which will play nicely in to the states hands and watch more of your democracy go bye bye.
