The towers that you have used were being replaced in 1941. The bird cage wasn't as strong or as ridged as a tripod mast.

The ship looks good and I love the saliors that you have put on it.

Default Nevada Improvements

Good work thus far; I just have a few suggestions to offer:

I see you have added a cage mast from the Colorado class BB in SHIV - it should actually be a tripod mast as per BBW's pictures (I would also give her a more prominant forward tripod than the New Mexico parent unit). Also, you should work on the bridge, as the New Mexico class's bridges looked substantially different from that of the Nevada. Plus, the Nevada had a straight bow rather than the raked bow of the New Mexico class. Also, the B and C turrets of the Nevada class had only two 14" barrels instead of the three of the New Mexico class.

These aren't anything to be too worried about though, and this is looking pretty good thus far. The New Mexico is a good base from which to start a Nevada, but I would personally work on the post-Pearl Harbour modernised version instead of the original configuration, as this version would be easier to kitbash from the New Mexico (the profiles were much more similar in some ways). But I encourage you to continue, as you are making good progress so far.

I agree. If necessary you can also use one of the tripods from the "Revenge" class in SH3, since with just a little work it can be an acceptable stand-in for an American tripod.

I really like this model
Maybe the tripod from the 'Revenge' class might add to our satisfaction of sinking it.
