NICE!

This will transform the game from the duldrums of sinking lone merchants one after another to a truly exciting wartime experience.

THANK YOU!

I guess they should have made SH4 an open boat where we run around inside and shoot each other a 1000 times. They seem to handle those games with numerous patches. --Longam UBI SHIV Forums

A sad day has dawned...

Actually, I think you'd find that the naval traffic might be more in some areas, but less in others.

Lurker could obviously give a feel for it.

Bottom line is that there were very many more noncombatants at sea than warships at any moment in RL, and his is TROM based. Since the japanese didn't adopt convoys except invasion forces, etc, until 43 to limited extent, and 44 more so, lone merchants would still be pretty likely since at any moment there should be 200-400 merchants at sea or so I reckon, most alone.

a reminder to all, this is still WIP and I'm not going to let it out until some more serious testing is done. Just to let people know this can be a real memory hog. and SH4 doesn't handle memory over flow error very well ( CTD ). So this is just to let every one know this is on the horzion. No current release date yet.
