Default [WIP]U-jagd tools mod

This is a mod that introduces in-game versions of many of the tools that the U-boats used for their plotting and data gathering. It is a co-release with Hitman who provided the research and most of the graphics. Recently Onelifecrisis has collaborated, by providing invaluable insights obtained through what he learnt in the creation of his own WIP.

Eventually this mod will be released for Stock, NYGM, GWX as well as with Onelifecrisis' own great new GUI interface.

Here are some screenies...

First the Zielkurswinkel Rad, or Target Course Angle wheel. This slides down over the scope and is used to quickly and accurately determine AOB based on the aspect ratio of the target.

Next is the U-jagd Stoppuhr. This is an adaptation of the original chrono and Jonz draggable chrono with new images which enable speed estimates to be determined by the fixed wire method

The next stage is the Angriffsscheibe. This is an in-game version of the well-known to many KM whiz-wheel

This is a slide out feature and furthermore your own course is automatically updated into this - just imagine some poor matrosengefreiter whose job it is to spend all day turning this wheel to make sure the correct course is showing .

will be a great help

The last time I tryed to sail without my weapons officer, I was horrified about my inablities to use the vanilla ingame tools properly in a reasonable amount of time (periscope visible for max 7 seconds). This work looks like I will give it very soon a next try

Amazing, awesome, nice, whaaow!!!
This simulator looks wonderful. May be one day some moder or UBI makes the Destroyer Command 2, then this game must to be the biggest WWII naval simulator.

Exellent work

The only way anything will be the biggest WWII naval simulator is if Ubi, or whoever decides to make it, recruits the modders from this forum to co-design it!!
