I've seen about all the SH4 videos on YouTube including stabiz's. I´ve seen Tordo562 and Jab´s work as well which was also amazing. When I see all those videos I miss one thing. Characters, a story. That´s what I´m trying to bring to table. I never imagined to be doing this on my own. That´s why I´m looking for help in a tight community as this. I´m getting a lot of positive response on the UbiSH4 site so I do know that people want to see it.

I´m just trying to be a catalyst for this project. Trying to get all those people who would like to make SH4 machinima together and some great movies. There are plenty of people on these forums who don´t have SH4 (yet) but are sub nuts nonetheless. I find subs one of the most intriguing parts of WWII and these stories deserve to be told.

I do have a dream, yes. But no one forfilled a big dream on his own. I never said that. Just want to emphasize that I would be writing the script not much more.

Nothing wrong with 'dreaming' and planning ahead.
No, not at all... Though I do like to see some chance of actualization IF I participate in a project...

That's well and good and what brings a lot of people to this particular genre. But again, how are you going to accomplish this? Do you have any machinima of your own to show from previous projects?

Ok, I read this as "I have this really cool idea and ..."

As a former IT project planner and leader on numerous projects I can tell you this, unless you're prepared to realize some concrete results, you'll find it hard to keep anyone's interest for long...

I'm not trying to dissuade you, but I'm failing to see how your going to accomplish any of this. You don't own or play SH4 so how are you going to find a common ground to discuss issues on?

Nothing finalized as I never got anything of the ground. Never had enough support. But my scripts were always lauded by those who read them. It's not going to be about SH4 but about WWII and I know a lot about that so I'd call that a common ground. I'd be doing the screenwriting and other small stuff. The one doing the recording would have more power than me as he would director/cameraman.

Has there been any other SH4 machinima made by a group. Don't remember seeing it. That's what I'm trying to start. I'm not saying I need to be the leader. That would probably be the one doing the recording. And he/she obviously has the game

Look for a video called "Blind mans tale" its for SH3 but is still a terrific project which has a charecter and story line.

And where may these scripts be found?

Simmeralpha, I think your best bet would be to talk to Stabiz and if he agrees, write a script on those movies he did. They are good stuff, so just watch them and then narrate them to us, as the american skipper. Then maybe you could do more stuff together and bla bla.
So why not give it a try?

SilentOtto has a good point/idea ... Perhaps if you were to write a script for an existing movie, you'd find more support and interest for your idea...
