Betweens us you and I, by my calulation we can count the amount of hours spent sleeping this week It's amazing when you become a modder for a game in our case the SH3 game you can spend alot of hours releasing a mod to the forum and in most case get little feedback. I not saying everytime you release a mod or in your case JCW the above mention logo clip that everyone should praise you like a demi god (does sound good though), I just wonder if most members really understand just how much modding can suck your soul from you. The longest part for me is loading the game to check the mod you have created, you then see a fault, you then leave the game, bust your arse to retify the fault (thats the killer) reload the game to see if what you have fixed is correct, in most cases its not, then you see another fault and so on, meanwhile you have a real life to live ie; work, family, sleeping (theres that word again).

When I saw your clip I thought oh dear, that would have taken some life hours....and I was right. Lets just hope someone dosent PM you and ask if you can make a logo clip for them, now wheres that PM button

Good effort thus far mate

Yea completly agree...

Just now add to go back with the Movie
to the backed up Animation I add from it
cause I saw a Speling error , caused by typing
insted writing Presents I have wrote Pressents
so had to edit that part again and got the chance of
tweacking it in the final also and in the final sound ...
so when gone another hour...

But Know its perfect...

Venatore,
from my "limited" modding experience, in various sims, I agree with your point that 98% of community is ignorant towards "sleepless" hours and nights (familyless...) devoted to "tweak-load-try" countless polishing attempts...

But this particular example is wrong one; Logo is personal presentation, no matter how artistic it is , no matter is it mine, yours, JCW's or even Ubisoft one !

Logo is, more or less, personal presentation, even "masterpiece" like this one... but community is looking for a content itself, so please, be patient... and expect some reliable feed-back when first of final downloads start to boil within "community"...

Default Sleep?...... What is this?.

JC Wolf this is truly awesome work ........ BUT............
You say you need sleep?.
What foolishness is this to want 'sleep'?.
Real men, UBoat Kaleuns all, real roughty toughty submariners are out there at sea craving sleep but not getting any, too many 'ALAAAAARMS' and convoys to intercept.
To require 'sleep' whilst fellow Kameraden are out there in the thick of it is defeatist!
Why should you be priviliged to recieve sleep....... come on man answer!.
You cant can you........ so back to the modding boards, sharpen the pencil, drink the coffee and get on with it, we expect results imminently!.

Right, I'm off for a good 8hrs kip, mods should be released pretty soon now after that telling off and I can d/l tomorrow and give them a go fully refreshed....... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Crack on mate, we cant wait.........

You know, you modders better be careful. With all the new mods about to come out, Santa is gonna be pretty annoyed. No elf made sled or anything has any chance with you guys putting out a lineup like this.

Thanks to all you brave souls who put so much time and effort into making this game so great. Oh, and I'll make sure to send you all new coffee/tea pots for christmas so you can keep working

Thanks guys and just a small update
on the Main menu graphic...

I was looking for a Official graphic that will
go with the mod and made this one that is
the new Main menu, the previouse will be as opcional!

So you will have the previouse one within the Opcional Mods folder,
this one will be the Official U-Boat 1.2 main menu!

Default I like it

I like the simplicity of that screen. Very easy on the eye , straight forward and realistic.

I feel your pain dude!

The mod I'm working on, I have to fully exit and reload the game to test, can't just reload the mission.

And then I see something needs moving 2 pixels

JCWolf, as I said in PM, this mod is looking very nice!!!
