Default max depth

that depends on what boat you are in and if you have had ANY damage before.

Those are all metric conversions, and look kind of funny that way.

Hello.

I have been testing the various boats in my SH4. I use Crash dive (C), or Dive normal (D), and can get to around 320+ feet in the Balao, Gar, and Propoise.

I then found this thread. I noticed different readings for different classes. I have not been able to take a boat fresh out of port and dive to a point of crushing.

Am I missing something in how to force the boat to go deeper?

Thank-you.

Sailor Steve, how do I insert the necropost pic? IMO. seven years qualifies. YMMV.

You copy it to your computer, the upload it to your favorite hosting site, just like your screenshots.

Take your pick.

Test depth is not crush depth. All the boats can go past their test depth. I took a Gato to over 1000 one day ... even made it to 25 knots under water ... heading straight for the bottom bow flooded, everyone screaming ... you would have thought we were going to die or something ... so we did.
