YAY,Yes it works,just load the game via SHIII and not SH3Cmdr,go through a patrol,exit out and at the end restart a profile via SH3Cmdr and bobs your unckle,everything's back on track againMr JSCones,I take my hat of to you Sir

If you use SH3Cmdr and die during a career, you have two options if you want to resurrect the career.

The first option is exactly as you have done. That is, load SH3 directly (sans SH3Cmdr) and select a previous save point and continue. Exit SH3 and SH3Cmdr will now have you as alive an "in base".

The other option, perhaps more of a cheat (if such a thing exists, LOL!) as it has the benefit of not sacrificing any patrols, is simply to open the Career's Careers.cfg file and look for the line, in the last block (usually - depending on how many times you've reverted back to previous saves):

Finished=true

Change it to:

Finished=false

Voila! Alive again AND with the details of the patrol recorded.

Thanks for the info JScones, I've always wanted to resurrect a lost career,and didn't know how if I didn't have a saved game................

DiD is fine,.........Until you get the 'turm of death'.I don't think mass suicide's were the kriegsmarine's thing so resurrecting a career is perfectly valid
