Orders for Patrol 1 will be issued tomorrow.

Patrol 1 will run until September 24th, so there is still plenty of time to join the war from the beginning.

I wish I could sneak away from all my duties and join up to sail under a false name.

Though I think Doenitz would have me shot for deserting the flotilla offices.

Ah, just found this pic from the screenshot thread, taken by me during the night of 5-6th of June 1944, WaW I.

Caption says:
Photo taken by U-264 just few hours before leaving Brest to join the other uboats ordered to sink the allied invasion fleet in Normandy. U-264 was sunk on the 7th of June by a Royal Navy destroyers.

IIRC, I came under attack by allied bombers too in Brest shortly after that pic.

Heather, wasnt you the second kaleun from our Flottile to attack the fleet?

Now that you mention it, yes, I was. I still remember how certain I was that I was going to get creamed in there too. Talk about dicey!!!

The biggest surprise for me was that I survived it. Ah, the memories.

Yay!!! Tho, the 1st Flottille orders are wrong, my boat is marked as U-31, but like I stated in the 'reporting in' thread, my boat is the U-21 IIB.

@Heather:

Yeh, you lucky! I took it too risky and went after them troop transports. Was pinned down in the shallow waters and got DC'd.

Download the Training mission from their web-site and go through it. After you do this post your report on the site and they will give you a U-Boat and orders.

i have been on that site but i dont understand a thing what they mean

so if i understand correct (wich is probaly not)

1. go make a account on that site
2. do they're trainings mission
3. when your account is made. you change your data

I don't understand why you got confused to be honest

It's really simple 1. You create an account 2. You report to the 5th Flotilla and download the Training Mission 3. You do the mission 4. You report your results back to the 5th Flotilla and 5. You wait for your orders to arrive.
