Reading what every individual soldier said, most seem upbeat about their current situation. With exception of a few who seemed to have gotten the crappy end of the stick when all was said and done. Particularly the soldier who has to pay back $2900.00 to Uncle Sam. That, my friend, is an injustice. As far as the fellow who did not get a Purple Heart....that is a joke as well. He is deserving just as much as the next. I had a friend who received a Purple Heart in Viet Nam....he twisted his ankle jogging. Being he was in the war zone at the time, he received the Purple Heart. Knocking down the wall with the picture of Sadam and getting hurt in the process deserve the medal. After all, the whole place is a war zone. Just another injustice in the world.

At the end of the portfolio regarding the Marine . . . it states to donate to Fisher House.

As a former servicemember and having been stationed at BAMC, let me tell you the Fisher House is a great NPO (Non-profit Organization). It allows the families of wounded servicemembers to come down to where the servicemembers are being treated and have a facility, at no cost to the dependents, where they can stay at during their time there.
Regardless of your political position on the current operations within the nation-state of Iraq, this is an organization where you can truly support the troops.
