-PV- Exact same problem as I am having. I'm patched to 1.3 and this only started when I was offered a new boat out of Pearl. As I mentioned, my tracking indication line while in the attack map has just disappeared after getting the new boat. I don't have a whole lot of experience yet and really depended on that feature to score any hits. I've tried the manual targeting but it's still a little bit over my head.
Any ideas? Anyone? |

This is a known bug: when crossing the 180 degrees meridian (a bit west of Midway, I believe), you loose the torpedo track. THis was *supposed* to have been fixed in 1.3 but it's not.
Some modders addressed the issue by shifting the Outside starting point of Pearl Harbour from the default to some 100miles west of Midway, which puts the boat past the 180 meridian thus avoiding the bug until the sub returns to port (at which point the torpedo track is irrelevant). |

Excellent Tip! I'll have to track down the mod and get this fixed.
Thanks! |
