The question about the course of target

1)Go under water.
2) mark your position
3) locate target via hydrophone
4) ping target
5) record distance
6) convert distance to nautical miles
7) record bearing
8) draw a line from your point out to the edge of your bearing chart
9) zoom out on the map and draw a new line from your point parallel (or over) your first bearing line all the way out to the desired nautical mile distance.

That is your relative mark on target.

Do the same procedure every 5 minutes two or three times and you get a general course.
