Open data file in the main folder. Look for Library file and it goes in here. I made a copy of the original file just in case. Then I copied and pasted in the Library file. Work just fine.

Data>
Library

Open the downloaded file and make a copy of the camerias.dat and paste it in the file labelled Library. It will prompt
to overwrite. Click yes. All set.

The way Sergbuto has structured the file path, you can use JSGME to load it.

The cameras.dat file is placed in Data\Library\ folder. But the way it's set up, you can use JSGME to load it.
Now that little dit bit of info was left out. Give it a go, great little piece of work.

Concerning the installation, I just pasted the Readme bits from my SH3 mods. Personally, I do not use JSGME because I want to keep tight control on any file changes in my SH4 folder while doing modding. But I heard that the way I set up the mod downloads is compatible with JSGME. Maybe I should indeed start stating compatibility in Readmes.

I had, a half formed thought on messing around with cameras to see if it was possible to get the shift+F2 view back when outside on the bridge.

Now i sit here wondering, how in the hell did sergbuto do it? What an awesome mod.

Ducimus, I haven't had time to try it yet and probably won't until this weekend Can you tell me, does it work on the Jap ships too? In any way shape or form?

Back in the 1.0 - 1.1 days I spent more time wandering around on the decks of my victims with Shift+F2 I think, than I did killing 'em to begin with!

If sergbuto has managed that too, it would be awesome!

DH

[Edit] ...but I'll take what I can get, and be grateful for it!!!

Clayp you need to d/l and install 7-Zip to unpack the file. If you understand WinZip, you'll understand 7-Zip You can find 7-Zip here:

http://www.7-zip.org/

After installing 7-Zip, use it to extract the mod file you downloaded, copy the folder to your mods folder then install with JSGME.

Sergbuto, could you please post a list of changes you've made to the cameras.dat file? I need to add your changes manually, as I'm already using a modded cameras.dat file.

Thanks.
