Default [REQ] Any way to stop the crews's yelling?

I've noticed when one's boat takes damage but survives the encounter that the crew will yell for the rest of the patrol. Really, I want to slap my diving officer (or tell him to lay off the caffeine) for yelling out his commands to the helmsman and do the same when the latter yells "YES SIR!!!" I'm thinking this is tied in to some sort of damage state that, once reached, causes the crew to act this way until the patrol ends. Any way to fix this?

Yep, they keep screaming , the only way I found to make 'em stop was to go for a refit at the nearest tender. That stopped them from screaming.

Haven't tried this but... switch to silent running for a while and maybe they speak normally after that?

Running submerged for a day and resting usually stops the screaming .

Once you make repairs (if you can) they will stop. If you cant, get yourself some earplugs.

Yep--I'm not a fan of the screaming either BUT, I do take note that my hull must be damaged when they're always yelling at me. So I head for home and buy them all a half bottle of beer.

In other words--when no damage shows on the repair screen and the crew is still yelling, I figure I probably have compromised hull integrity and shouldn't dive deep anymore.

Cheers!

Or find the "yelling" sound files and replace them with renamed non-yelling sound files.
