Yeah that's why I play as a rogue. It allows me to sneak up behind the enemy and attack from behind.Also I play with a few of my friends here in Brighton, everything's easier when you're in a party

When I'm on my own I normaly sneak past a lot of the enemies and get the goodies without getting smegged

I got owned by a rogue last night he challenge me for a fight i thought yeah why not i should be able to deal to him with the bow then my pet can get up close and rip him to shreads, but he went invisible so my pet couldn't attack nor could i get him with the bow so had to try fight him up close, only to die

First Rogue ive seen do that they're pretty cool.

When I played my brother always went Rogue. The trick in a 1 on 1 fight with them is to keep moving and not let them get behind you to do their back stab attack (or whatever the stealth attack is called.)

When they go invisible, don't stand still.

-this was some time ago though.

As a hunter you should be able to destroy rogues (depending on your level), hunters are pretty much the anti rogue class with their anti stealth abilities and pet

Okay changed tactics.
When attacking send pet then start strafting in circles while firing bow using main skills
-Concussive shot, Arcane shot, Serpent Shot & Distracting shot. im running rings around him going left & right & repeat then when hes down to approx 30% health i get up close and finish him off with the axe i just picked up from a drop "Grunt Axe of Agility" which is a lifesaver!. And must remeber to enable Aspect of the Hawk which last 30min.

Straight forward attack: set Immolation Trap start firing away with no strafting by the time hes up close hes down to around 30% health, gets hit by the imolation trap, finish him off with few swings of the axe, sometimes having to use Raptor strike or blood fury axe skills depending how high lvl they are to kill him.

When one on one i have a bad habit of pulling out my axe and taking on some character that owns with heavy weapons like a warrior for instance. Instead of using my bow skills and staying back hitting him till hes low on health then use the axe to finish him off. But no i would rush him and try to down him with an axe, not a good idea against a warrior plus they have better armor.

Must remeber to stop playing my hunter like if hes some warrior

Im doing that "Consumed by hatred" quest in Taurajo, great place for green drops.

I've got a level 66 night elf druid, and really like the game. Saying that, I'm taking a break from it to play EVE online for a while. Its a great game don't get me wrong, but I feel like I need a break because the game gets very tedious when you need 700,000xp to level (and get a max of 1500xp per kill with rest xp). Look at EVE if your interested in space mmo's as they do a 14 day free trial.

I tried WoW for a few weeks. Being a vetran City of Heroes and Ultima Online player, I found the player interface in WoW to be VERY clunky. They REALLY need to streamline that interface, especially for using the chat channels.

So far, I havn't found a MMO out there that in any way equals Ultima Online in the sheer amounts of stuff you can do. I mean, I have two houses there, fully deccorated, and several ships for piracy and just going fishing !

Oh.. and name another game where you can get together with your guild, go to the deepest level of the scariest, most evil dungeon, set up tables, and have a bake sale (Yes.. my guild did this as a fundraiser once.)
It was really funny.. people were running past us being chased by dragons and litch lords and we're standing there behind our tables yelling "COOKIES !!! CUPCAKES !!! KEEP YOUR STRENGTH UP !!! DELICIOUS FOOD !!"

I've been playing WOW for 2 years and it is a blast. The best way to play is join a guild asap. In a guild you can organize raids and do instances. At lvl 70 you can get your own flying mount which is about the best way to travel. Only downside is you to have the expansion pack (BC). If a guild isn't you cup of tea there are always lots of players to team up with or go it alone. I've tried all the free demo MMO's and none compare to WOW. Just my opinion and 2 cents worth.

Im with a Guild, no where near 70 yet, lvl 31 Orc/Hunter, but yes great game, im in my 4th week and loving it, the graphics i found having to get use to, too comical for me, but now it dont matter and i suppose Blizzard wanted to keep to the warcraft series how the gaphics are like they are. What i like about this game theirs always someone online that wants to help out in a quest or needing help in a quest, nothing makes me feel better than running in the barrens & come across a player that is in dire need of help, where i'll help him out, kinda like you just saved him from death

And they appreciate it. One time i was into my 4th hour of trying to complete this quest, i had to first take out the camp which was the hardest part i was ready to give up and try later when this lvl 70 comes galopping in on his horse, and takes out everyone in the camp then runs off. I was then able to finish the quest thanks to him.

Oh and the fear of being attack by the opposite side which is alliance for me is like another buzz to the game.
