I was under the impression the Hollywood mod only added the flying bodies not the explosion, fire, debri etc, been awhile though, maybe I should check it out!

I thought the Hollywood damage mod wasn't GWX compattable ?
I LOVE the torpedo damage mod. That thing is a MUST have.

Other mods which change aspects of the visual effects... also destroy critical elements of the GWX damage model for U-boats, all surface vessels, and, aircraft. (I am speaking of any mod which adds any file other than a .tga graphic file or two.
The elements of the "Hollywood" damage model changes that were compatible are already in GWX. Gouldjg, the creator of the Hollywood effects mod worked with vonHelsching to make it so. GWX will likely still function with these changes... but given the right conditions, are a CTD waiting to happen. You have been warned. I strongly suggest that you do not use any mod that changes visual effects... as secondary side effects are attached. |

Thanks for the warning Kpt. Lehmann! I installed GWX_-_Special_Effects_V1.00 a few hours ago...Oh well
![]() I downloaded from Melnibonian's page and will report back if I run into a CTD. I still have plenty of time left to ruin this NEW install...Oh no!!!! http://hosted.filefront.com/melnibonian I just enabled the Integrated Orders Mod in JSGME that came with GWX and don't think it's working. Same thing occured on my last game install. I'll check it again... Looking forward to the 1.04.. Thanks again!!! Cheers ![]() |
