Nope im running no mods.
I have played around with the year and month settings, also i have tried stopping, diving to around 60m, and turned silent running on. When i was doing this the plan was to wait for the convoy to get within striking distance, so i could quickly go to periscope depth and fire all tubes. But they started evading me before they were even close
Maybe they have some sort of super radar that picks up everything?:hmm:

Oh and there were no escorts present.
