[REQ] 1.2 Binocular View

I was wondering if someone would be so kind as to provide a mod to revert the 1.3 binocular view back to what it was in 1.2, or perhaps inform me on how to do it.

This is the only thing so far I don't like in 1.3. As I prefer having the periscope sheers block my view, since it gives me the feeling that I'm working together with my watch crew, and not just acting as a one man gig. Plus it cuts off parts of the sub, which looks kinda funky.
