Doh! I just figured it out! Did I mention this is a Vista machine? Anyone else know what the problem is now? You need to run Mini Tweak as Administrator. When I first tried it, it threw an error about - comdlg32.ocx not correctly registered... To fix that, I did the following: Note: you must run the command prompt as administrator. To run command prompt as administrator, hit the Start button (usually in lower left on your screen), in the Search box type 'command', the search will return a list of items, one of them being 'command prompt'. Right-click and select "Run as Administrator". At the command prompt, run this: regsvr32 /u C:\WINDOWS\system32\COMDLG32.OCX You may also want to try reregistering it by running: regsvr32 /i C:\WINDOWS\system32\COMDLG32.OCXThis last bit didn't work for me, but running the first line to unregister COMDLG32.OCX allowed me to run Mini Tweaker as Admin, which now works fine. Not sure if there will be other issues later because of unregistering COMDLG32.OCX - use at your own risk. Doug Last edited by dkerfoot; 07-18-07 at 11:19 AM. |
