Well, just as a followup...
I can rule out the following: 1) Not a driver issue as I now have the latest driver installed 2) Nothing to do with restarting the PC (duh) I'm going to try a fresh reinstall tonight. I recall on the last patch I forgot to rollback my modded config file... and it did cause some strange problems. It occured to me last night that I had done the exact same thing this time. Forgot to rollback the config changes ![]() So tonight I'll try the reinstall and report back... |

aaron, is there a particular date/time you can give us leaving PH?
Also, can you use the mission editor? You might try making a quick mission and see if it works there. If you give the exact date, I can make a quick mission to see if that date fails on my machine. |

Made a test mission at sea, colorado and pennsylvania, dec 9, 1941. Looks fine. Start campaign PH dec 9, looks fine.
It's not the game. A date/texture issue would always happen. Gotta be your machine. |

I think it's the install, as I have seen screenshots posted from people with the exact same specs that do NOT have the problem... and I have also heard several cases where people have the same problem with different specs.
I think what we all may have in common is modding the config file and forgetting to roll back before patching. :hmm: But I'll test that theory tonight... |
