As a minor refinement to Switch.dota's post. I simply plot a line at say 30 degrees at which I intend to fire and determine the AOB (which in this case is usually around 60 degrees for a medium to short range shot). I line up the scope on the 30 degree line and fire at the furthest target when it crosses. Then I wait for the second ship. When it first enters the periscope viewer I take a quick range reading and then when it intersects the periscope crosshairs I fire the second shot. No need to re-enter AOB or speed.
