If you're talking about editing your own save files, that's not a feature.

I believe he is referring to the fact that the late war S-class conning tower has no AA mounting.

You can alter all data files to adjust the availability. It's fairly simple. It will reset itself the next time your in port.

No, it is about historical accuracy. One of the things I like about a simulator is the chance to see and experience the different features of a class of sub. The one that said all this to man a *^*& machine gun. Yes it is all for manning the gun, that should have been there come the early part of 1942, I am in July, and neither my S-18, nor my S-24 has been upgraded to the newer, defended tower.

There is also the fact there is a problem in a game that was supposed to be fixed. That in itself is irritating.

When someone puts up a method that was supposed to get the game to work correctly and it doesn't work, well, that makes it very irritating.
