the rest of the patch looks great im not saying they havent done a good job but how can you have scope animations when you buy the game factory shipped and then apply a patch and that feature is now gone thats all im saying hopefully someone can fix this in the mods section but i will say that everything looks great other than just that feature

Thanks for all your hard work guys. The new radar animations look solid and it all works as it should . I know the periscopes do not animate in the conning tower any more but it's not a game killer for me, guess you can't win em all. Just glad the radar and the sonar works properly now

I thin you will always "REALISTIC" game titles go through growing pains after release like SH4 did. It is only natural since making a game based on ultra-realism is going to be 100 Times more difficult than making a game based on whatever you want it to be based on (STALKER, or some of the other FPS). I pretty much play nothing but simulators (Silent Hunter, Microsoft Flight Simulator, Forgotten Battles, ect...) and they all go through these same kinds of problems. It just takes time getting things perfect to make it realistic. Other games don't have to worry as much about realism.

Thanks alot for all your efforts developers. I hope you keep the series alive with SH5. I also hope you take us all back to the Atlantic and UBoats in either your next title, or your next "Add-On" for SH4.

Thank You DEV 's and Thank You UBI Soft!

Should you read any grumblings...Just consider it their desire for more of what you are giving us, like a stomach grumbles for food, they want another excellent patch.

I'm very happy to say thankyou to the devs for deveoping the best two sub sim games on the market...well done lads

I also believe feedback is valuable and that is why I have no intention of thanking UBI whatsoever, you released the game too early. You didn't state it was broken, thus allowing customers to part money for a "dodgy" game...and then you took too long to release the patches that fixed it.

So UBI, no "thanks" to you...only some advice....clean up your act. Invest in your customers because although you have good market share now, it is they who will decide your success in the long run.

And now a quick note in response to posts by a certain few who seem to always jump to defend UBI.....you don't have to be pawns, really!
