Well, I hate those damn Egyptians. And the Cartageners (or whatever they are called in English)
Rome Total war is a great game, but gets very repetative later on, and .. boring. But alas, I stubled on http://dangerdeep.sourceforge.net/gallery.html So SOMEONE is indeed busy with alternatives.. tried a brief test, not too bad but one needs to get aquanted alot.
